I am in my 5 year of full time RV life after living in Kansas City all my life. I have enjoyed your channel for many years. I have stayed in hundreds of RV parks during that time, in my Class A coach; with my wife and disabled daughter ( autistic). We tour the country and cris cross it each year. One year we winter in Florida and the next year in California. So, I really see the state of our Highways and commercial RV parks. Our coach is 42 feet long so I always plan ahead for my stays and we enjoy full hookups and amenities. What I have seen in late 2024 and all of 2025 and I am seeing for 2026 is availability in commercial RV park. I noticed a good vacancy rate in the parks. We tend to stay at the higher end of the spectrum of resorts. Not the highest priced parks but certainly the higher rated parks. We have stayed at some of the luxury parks like Moter Coach Resort at Hilton Head Island or Gulf Breeze’s on Mustang Island, TX as examples. We also have a Thousand Trails membership, which we use occasionally at their better rated parks. Overall, I see vacancies of a good 20 to 30 percent in these parks during “ peak” season. Currently we are in Desert Hot Springs at Catalina Hog Springs Spa and Resort. They are 60% full. My guess is the economy is creating a large pullback in demand for RV resorts
