Catching up on a few shows and just listened to this one. My comment is regarding two things. First, not mentioned regarding lightening strikes, always using those plastic or rubber pads for stabilizing or landing gear jacks. We know from personal experience that a nearby, ground strike, without any isolation other than the tires will fry electronics even if boondocking! It happened to us at our own home to a 5th shell we used to own. A tree was hit and it transferred the energy to the ground and in addition to damaging our house, the energy went through the front landing gear on the 5th wheel. It was not plugged in! Since then, knock wood, it hasn't happened again but I ALWAYS use those plastic pads to isolate our trailers so it can't happen again. I always use pads where ever we are now. Secondly, outdoor showers. Yes our trailers have those also. The only time they get used is when I'm winterizing or unwinterizing them, however, almost every rv park or camp with water hookups Wil have rvs connected with leaking connections all over the place! Some just drips others ponds! You'd think those owners would care about that but they apparently don't or they'd fix it! Great ways to spend the days at home listening to Travels With The Epperson's!
